LICENSE TERMS

Effective until replaced by the formal License Agreement. Last updated 08/04/2026.

1. The license. Your purchase grants you a personal, perpetual, non-transferable license to use the Tactical Threat Matrix software. The license is issued in your name and your agency’s, and covers devices you personally use.

2. Eligibility. Sales are restricted to verified law enforcement, military, and professional security personnel. Purchasing on behalf of, or transferring the software or license key to, anyone outside that population is prohibited and voids the license.

3. Your key. Your license key is issued to you individually. Do not share, publish, or resell it. Agency purchases receive individually named keys per seat under separate terms.

4. Updates. Your license includes updates released during the 12 months following purchase. Continued updates are available by optional plan. Software delivered to you continues to function regardless of update status.

5. Your data. The software stores your data on your device, encrypted. We hold no copy and no access. You are solely responsible for your passcode, your recovery key, and your exports. Loss of both passcode and recovery key means permanent loss of access to that data — by design.

6. Decision support only. The software is a planning and documentation tool. It does not replace agency policy, legal review, training, or the judgment of commanders and officers. All scoring values are configurable defaults; your agency is responsible for aligning them with its own directives.

7. Refunds. Because each license is individually issued and verified, all sales are final once a license key has been delivered. If the software fails to activate with a valid key, contact us and we will make it right.

8. No warranty; limitation of liability. The software is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
